Archaeology Mini-Game


This game was created in an hour to provide a quick example of a concept for a web development module on the Archaeological Information Systems M.Sc Program. Whilst the game itself is incredibly simple, not to mention rough around the edges, it did the job of demonstrating that simplistic interactivity can be easily and reasonably quickly obtained.

One of the significant issues with this work is that the 'Flash' format which it is presented in locks away much of the integral data - actively working against open or searchable data. A factor which should be considered in the future when investigating both the documentation practices of creating games and how the limitations of a given platform could be worked around effectively.

It should also be noted that it is buggy as hell, apologies in advance.
